The Clay County African American Legacy Inc. (CCAAL), will host its 11th Annual Kwanzaa Celebration at Garrison School Cultural Center on Saturday, December 27th, 2014, at 6:30 P.M. Garrison School is located at 502 N. Water in Liberty, Missouri. The event is free and open to the public. Mr. William Jones, a member of the Greater Kansas City Black History Study Group, will be the featured speaker. He will discuss the Parade Park Co-op located in Kansas City, Missouri, where he has lived more than fifty years. The Kwanzaa celebration this year will focus on the 4th principal of Kwanzaa, Ujamaa, which is Cooperative Economics. The Clay County African American Art Gallery located in Garrison School will also be open for this event. |
