Join Garrison School Cultural Center Museum as we celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with artist Wendy Shome, who will share the inspiration and story behind her Parade of Hearts sculpture, “Struggles and Hope.” The sculpture celebrates the rich African American heritage of Clay County and reflects the struggles, resilience, and hope that are an important part of our community’s history and America’s story.
